Coaching Experience
By means of this letter I would like to enquire about the possibility of filling an outstanding coaching opportunity
At present, I am serving as Youth development coach at Chalkanoras F.C for U14 & U15 groups where I am responsible for planning and delivering coaching sessions. In addition to that, part of my role with the teams, is to analyse their games and individual performances every week and deliver the analysis presentation. Moreover, part of my responsibilities as a Head of Analysis and Development of the academy is to plan the syllabus of the academy and tutoring coaches on game model and practice design.
Last year I had the opportunity to work for a Premier League club at Luton Town F.C where I was responsible for U7 & U8 preparing players for possible transition to academy set up. During my time at the academy, my opportunities grew by coaching U9,U10,U11 and U16s helping me to develop as a professional.
I have finished my Undergraduate Football Studies degree with second class honours. The nature of my studies prepared me well with knowledge and skills for a more advanced coaching position in elite football academies since I had the opportunity to learn from category one academy coaches and take part in CPDs’ and study visits in close range category one and three academies.
During my one-year long placement I had the privilege to work at Exeter City FC, as an academy performance analyst.
This helped me develop my game understanding as well as technical and tactical acumen. Also, during my time at the club I had the opportunity to coach the U12s and U13s of the Advanced Development Centres, which helped me learn more on club’s playing and coaching philosophy but also helped on how to follow and apply club’s syllabus. The opportunity to work as a coach and as an analyst in an elite academy environment helped me to enchase all around skillset.
Also considering the physical wellbeing of young athletes is very important. During my personal training diploma, I have learned how to plan and deliver S&C sessions aiming to develop players strength, power, speed, agility, coordination and many more. Moreover, this course has developed my observational skills helping me to identify imbalances in a human body and what types of movements the person needs to focus on to be more functional leading to an enchased performance. Moreover, during my dissertation research I have learned the importance of multi-sport provision in elite football academies and acknowledged the importance of futsal as a sport and how futsal constraints can develop technical and tactical competency but also develop players physical capabilities helping them to transfer them in football.
Finally, am also currently working towards my UEFA A license obtaining it in July.
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
Kind Regards
