Role

Tigres UANL is seeking an experienced Youth Head Coach to lead our academy program, drive player development, and align pathway outcomes with first-team standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver age-appropriate, periodized training (technical–tactical–physical–psychological).
• Implement a high-pressing game model (incl. high press trap) and wide unit behaviors (e.g., inverted wingers), adapted by age group.
• Lead match preparation, in-game management, and post-match analysis.
• Oversee individual development plans (IDPs), evaluations, and progression criteria.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary staff (S&C, medical, analysis, education).
• Ensure safeguarding, welfare, and best-practice standards across the academy.
• Align methodology, scouting inputs, and talent ID with club philosophy.

Requirements

• UEFA coaching license (or equivalent).
• Proven track record in youth development at professional/elite academy level.
• Strong tactical knowledge: pressing structures, build-up/transition, position-specific coaching.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills; stakeholder management with players & parents.
• Languages: English and Spanish (professional working level); French is a plus.

Contract & Compensation

• Contract: 2 years (fixed term).
• Salary: USD 25,800.00 per month.
