Ismoney is a Brazilian born player that started his career at a young age playing for various youth clubs before joining competitive travel soccer. In High School, he played for St. Benedicts’s Preparatory school in Newark, New Jersey where he was part of 1997 National Champions teams and captained the 1998 team, winning a second consecutive National Championship. He later moved on to play D1 and D3 men’s soccer, and in 2001, received an invitation to train with Dortmund Borusia in the Dutch League. Ismoney joined the NY/NJ Metrostars practice squad before going into a 9 year semi-pro career, winning several awards and titles, including champions of the NJ Champions League with Sport Club Portuguese. His last three seasons of semi-pro were played with FC Feirense before Ismoney unofficially retired and began a coaching career.
